PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT AND EXPECTATIONS

At Azteca Academy, we believe that a positive and supportive environment is essential for the growth and development of our players. We value the commitment and involvement of parents in the journey of their children's football experience. To ensure a harmonious and respectful atmosphere, we kindly request that parents agree to the following code of conduct and expectations:

Respect and Sportsmanship

Set an example of good sportsmanship and fair play by treating all players, coaches, officials, and other parents with respect and courtesy.

Avoid engaging in negative or disrespectful behavior, including verbal or physical abuse, towards anyone involved in the game.

Support and encourage your child and their teammates, regardless of the outcome of a match or training session.

Communication and Collaboration

Maintain open and constructive communication with the coaching staff, ensuring that any concerns or questions are addressed in a respectful and timely manner.

Understand that coaches have the expertise and knowledge to make decisions in the best interest of the team and individual players.

Collaborate with the coaching staff and other parents to create a positive team environment that promotes player development and teamwork.

Attendance and Punctuality

Ensure that your child arrives on time for training sessions, matches, and team events.

Notify the coaching staff in advance if your child will be absent or late for any scheduled activities.

Respect the team's commitment and attendance expectations, as consistent attendance contributes to the team's progress and success.

Player Development and Support

Encourage your child to participate fully and embrace the learning opportunities provided by the coaching staff.

Support your child's development by reinforcing the values of discipline, dedication, and perseverance.

Avoid putting excessive pressure on your child or comparing them to other players, as this can hinder their enjoyment and progress in the sport.

Respect for Policies and Guidelines

Familiarize yourself with and adhere to the club's policies, including those related to player safety, behavior, and the overall club philosophy.

Respect and comply with any guidelines set forth by the coaching staff regarding player selection, playing time, and team strategy.

Positive Sideline Behavior

Support your child and the team from the sidelines in a positive and encouraging manner.

Refrain from coaching or giving instructions to players during matches, as this can conflict with the coaching staff's guidance.

Respect the boundaries set by the coaching staff regarding parent involvement during training sessions and matches.

Agreeing to the
Expectations

By agreeing to these expectations, you contribute to fostering a positive and enjoyable experience for all players, coaches, and parents involved in Azteca Academy. We appreciate your commitment to promoting a supportive and respectful environment that enables our young athletes to thrive and reach their full potential.

Thank you for your cooperation and dedication to the success of our team and club.
